Private housing finance company DHFL will offer a 25 basis point reduction in home loan products for its women customers.

Under the ‘DHFL Home Loan for Women’ offer, all single / first woman applicants who are also the sole / co-owners in the property will be eligible for a 25 bps (0.25 per cent) waiver on the rate of interest, the company said in a statement.

The prime lending rate of DHFL is at 18.75 per cent.

This scheme can be obtained at DHFL office across 456 locations in India till March 25, 2014.

All customers who take a home loan during this period will be eligible for a 25 per cent discount on processing fees, the statement further said.

DHFL home loan products include home loan, home extension loan, home improvement loan, home loans for NRIs, plot loans, mortgage loan, leased rental finance and non-residential property loan.

The housing finance company also offers fixed deposit schemes, namely Aashray Deposit Plus for individual and trust investors and Swayamsidha specially designed for women.

The shares of DHFL ended higher at Rs 222.80, up 2.90 per cent over the previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
